Defence

Ingleton Wood have developed a bespoke team for Defence and Security focused property consultancy. Our well-informed team have specialist knowledge in the UK and US Defence and Aviation industries. We achieve quality compliant design solutions time and again with high levels of stakeholder engagement and end user satisfaction.

We can provide a multi-disciplined design service or individual professional services to achieve best value. A project specific team will be assembled as required to cover architecture, building services engineering, structural and civil engineering, building surveying, H&S services, planning consultancy, and sustainability services.

Our defence team hold the appropriate security clearance which allows us to be highly flexible with the ability to deliver a wide range of services within secure working environments.

The Defence Estate is continually changing to meet the needs of the evolving mission. Our role is to support this change and to implement physical alterations to the estate with minimal impact upon operational efficiency.

Our work in the Defence Sector covers most building and project typologies found on MoD and USAF Estates. From complex technical, security-critical buildings to single living accommodation. Healthcare facilities to explosives environments. Fuel installations, security works, hangars, offices, stores and much more. We undertake a vast amount of work associated with the refurbishment and upgrade of facilities. We are also involved in major new build schemes and master planning/space utilisation studies to understand operational need.

In the UK, we work through frameworks and contractors as part of their supply chain to provide an OJEU compliant service. The team have been supporting major UK and US Government departments and other consultant teams for over 50 years which allows us to utilise our transferable skills, processes and our respected track record for delivery to work within other related security sectors. As a result, we have worked with private security providers, police authorities, aviation industries, fire departments, and a host of defence infrastructure providers.

Our approach is one of collaboration, working closely with design teams and clients to deliver best value solutions. This provides our clients with the confidence that they are investing their capital in the most effective way. With an in depth understanding of the Sector we can assist at all stages of a project from strategic assessment and defining a brief through to on site delivery and end-user engagement.
